Adults $25.00 Relay team up to four people $25.00 each or $100.00 per team. Sponsored by Hanalei Canoe Club. 24th annual run. Kilauea YMCA Ballroom Dance Club New 6 week class at Kilauea Neighborhood Center May 3-June 7. Dance being taught is beginning and intermediate salsa. Cost is $3.00/ week. Drop-ins who want just a few classes pay 5.00 per class. Registration is May 3 from 6-7 pm. Classes start Monday, May 3, 7-8:30pm. Call Danna , at 828-1534 for more information. EZ and Pauline Street just returned from a trip on a cruise ship to south Pacific islands, Tahiti, Cook Islands, Bora Bora, Moonea and visited family in Utah and California. May 25, they travel to California. In June, they will take a cruise for 5 weeks to Belgium, Switzerland, and some other countries. Bill and Marty Mowry boarded the OE2 cruise ship in Honolulu and enjoyed a fantastic cruise that led them to make some new lasting Christian Friends. Visiting American Samoa and New Zealand, when they saw shepherds training and herding sheep. They were able to meet chess players on board the ship and Bill actually was able to help teach chess to beginners and beat the ship's champion chess player. They became friends with a couple from South Africa who shared their plight of uneasy living in South Africa . They also visited Sydney and the Island of Tasmania.
