A Church For YOU with Inspiring Worship
At North Shore Christian Church we believe that God is worthy of our worship. He deserves our praise, our thanksgiving, our attention. Through our worship service we seek to help and encourage every person to express their love for God. That love is expressed through the singing of songs both old, new, and Hawaiian; through inspirational and contemporary music, through personal and united prayer, and through relevant preaching. Our worship team, led by Garrett Santos (Sunday) and Shane Prescott (Sat.), work closely with the pastoral staff to provide a setting where meaningful worship can take place.

Biblical Preaching
At NSCC the preaching and teaching is Biblical. The Bible is taken seriously: it is God's Word. And because it is God's Word it is the authoritative and trustworthy rule of faith and practice. The Bible is both timeless and timely, relevant to the common needs of all people at all times and to the specific problems of contemporary living. All preaching and teaching at NSCC seeks to provide practical and relevant principles from the Bible that are effective for our lives.

Small Group Ministry
At NSCC We are committed to small group ministry as one of the most effective means of building relationships, stimulating spiritual growth, and developing leaders. It is within these groups that meaningful sharing and fellowship take place. We have a variety of groups that center around Bible study, prayer, ministry and encouragement.

Ministry to Children and Youth
Our Children's Ministry includes Sunday School for pre-school to Jr. High which is held during the last part of our Sunday Worship Service. Pat Howard does an excellent job directing our Sunday School ministries and our teachers have a heart for God and for children.

Our Youth Ministry is growing and on the move. There are weekly meetings for both Jr. High and Sr. High students. Periodic camp-outs, mission trips and fun times are all part of the active Youth Ministry led by Sarah Hill.

A Place Where You Can Be Involved
At NSCC we are committed to preparing God's people for works of service. We are convinced that God works through all His people, not just a few. The pastoral staff is committed to encouraging and enabling all people to be involved in the work of the ministry both within the church as well as in the community.

A Place Where You Can Search For God
Above all, we at NSCC desire to help you in your search for God. A person's search for God can take many forms, methods and actions. We are sensitive to each person's search. We are convinced that God has made Himself known in Jesus Christ who is "the Way, the Truth, and the Life." Jesus Christ lived and died and rose again so that you might know God. It is only in recognizing your need for Jesus Christ and His death in your own life that you can truly find God and have a personal relationship with Him.
At NSCC it is our desire to present the good news that there is hope and life in Jesus Christ. Our purpose is to honor our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

If you have any questions about North Shore Church or questions concerning your search for God, feel free to contact Kahu Steve Thompson, 808-828-0043.
